Street Pharm was an interesting book, it showed how Ty could manage to survive of selling drugs. But by doing this many conflicts come into action during your life, it risks you of many things. In this book drugs have taken a toll on Ty's life by making him drop school to take care of his business, this also led to him drifting away from his mother until he completely lost her. By the end of the book we notice all of the struggles that Ty went through just because of this business. We see that Ty found someone who he actually cared about when he moved to his new school, this person who he cared about ended up being his girlfriend until she left him because of the drug dealing business he was involved in. Ty's family finally found out for sure that he was a drug dealer and one of the biggest in the town. The competitor that came into the town that tried taking over Ty's business tried many things to get rid of Ty, Ty was shot twice from a drive by and his best friend Sonny was killed because of a drug deal gone bad. So far Ty has ran into three conflicts that has played a factor on him, Ty new that he had to get rid of his competitor and found that he was doing a drug deal and got the cops involved to bust him. By doing this Darkman (the competitor) was taken to jail. Ty knew that this wasn't the way to live life and stopped with the drug business, he knew that no one can survive in the business because people always find a way to get rid (kill) of dealers so they can succeed themselves. Ty went back to school and ended up getting back together with his ex-girlfriend. All in all Ty noticed easy money wasn't real money and he took the right path at the end of the novel by living a normal life.

Would continue dating you boyfriend/girlfriend if you knew they were involved with illegal stuff? If not would you take them back if they told you they cleaned up?

Tyrone is a guy who has been living off of selling drugs. He describes this as his business and that he is very good at it just like his father.Through all his challenges and situations his mother has made him switch schools. Ty only focuses on his business but when he arrives to this school and meets that new girl he starts to think about different things. Talking about how having a girl in the business wouldn't be bad. He describes this as just having her as his girlfriend, but then he remembers about the business and if something goes sour in between them he knows she will rat him out. Tyrones character shows that he only focuses on his priorities and that if he starts to stray he knows his business could fall apart.

If you were involved with an illegal business would you bring someone knew in who you thought could rat you out if you two had a conflict.

Street Pharm is about a boy named Tyrone who is involved with selling drugs. He is described as being one of the best and biggest dealers in his town, until one day his mother finds out that he hasn't been attending school or work. His mother moves him from his High School to one with more security and restrictions, this school had security guards and even body scanners to make sure that nothing illegal is entering the school. this was done because his father was involved with drug dealing and was jailed for it and she did not want her son to be the same as his dad. Little did she know he was better then his dad, he continued his patterns of skipping school to make "sales". When he actually got through his first day of school he noticed a girl who couldn't keep her eyes off him, he felt that she was put in this school for the same reason he was. When they got to talking they were both quiet and didn't really tell each other the reason to why they were forced into the school.
